These photos were taken at Paul's (aka phuang) apartment (Mountain View, CA). It's a bit of a departure from his more usual activites (hiking, camping, etc.), but it's never too late to try new things, right? :) BTW, most of these folks are hiking friends so we ended up watching "Touching the Void", which, though not exactly a party movie, was nevertheless the movie of choice (or as some would say - there were no other choices!!). And although I had no intention at all of making this a bday party, someone announced it and they sang me a song and converted the fruit tart cakes into a bday cake, awww, thanks everyone!!! -paul.
