The Public Garden was developed in 1837 and is situated in the center of the city, like that of Central Park in New York.  The difference is of course the size - this being much smaller than that of Central Park.  But smallness has its advantages and beauty as you'll see on this page.  There's a pond in the garden where you can ride the Swan Boat.  The garden is populated with numerous varieties of trees and during Autumn, the colors come together like a well-practised symphony.  The next page shows Boston's residential neighborhoods and the fall colors there.
