On Sunday, February 3, 10 people + 1 dog went on a hike up Mission Peak.  Perhaps it wasn't the best choice as folks were still OUT-OF-SHAPE from the holidays, and we used up all the 'complaints' quotas leftover from the last couple of hikes :)  Hey, at least it wasn't raining right?  It started out foggy at the parking lot to about 2/3rds way up.  Then the fog gave way to glorious sunshine and the view down and around the Bay Area (hopefully) made the hike worthwhile!  Our newcomer is Tootsie and though she refused to walk at times, when she was leashed, she nevertheless lead the humans during much of the hike!  We stopped at the peak for a good length of time (~half hour) and then headed down.  The total distance is about  5.5 miles and it took us about 3.5 total hours (~8:45 Am to 12:20 PM).  Ok, next time, we're doing it in 2 hours total, ok guys and gals??? And what happens after a hike in Fremont?  Lunch, of course!  This time, it was at Minh's, in Milpitas. Enjoy the pics!
