On October 15, 2002, I took a short trip to the Sierra Nevadas - which isn't in the state of Nevada, but California, in the Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest. If you're not familiar with the names, it is about 40 miles south-east of Lake Tahoe, and just north of Yosemite National Park. It was my first time in this region and I went to check out the fall colors I had heard so much about. Having come from the New England (NY, NJ, MA), foliage is nothing new but foliage in majestic mountain regions is certainly something I hadn't seen before. The 5 hour drive was well worth it! The 91 photos are spread out across 5 pages, staring with page1 up to page 5. Each of the pages has 20 photos, except for the last page, which as 11. The photos are generously sized (100K to 200K each) so do the math and you'll know to wait a while for the page to download if you have a modem connection. The camera settings for each of the photos is shown - mostly for my own sake, but for photography buffs out there, maybe you can suggest better settings? Also, in each of the pages, you can vote/rate some of the photos. This is a feature I recently started implementing, just for fun. To view the results without voting, click
