This is the third time I've hiked Pyramid Peak, the other two times in 2006 and 2008. This time, there were three of us. We left Bay Area (Fremont) around 5:20 am, and got to the Twin Bridges trailhead at about 8:20 am and started hiking at about 8:30 am. It was a warm and sunny day, perhaps a little warmer than usual. Got to the summit at around 2:40 pm and back down and to the trailhead at about 6:30 pm. It is without a doubt, one of the most strenuous 8 miles one will ever hike. We did go off track a few times but fortunately nothing too drastic. Always a fabulous hike!
