July 11, 2004 - McNee Ranch State Park This hike was attended by 15 people, 2 of whom biked. They were: Denise, Thiena, Rose, Andrew, Sophia, Judit, Jessica & Tin, Van, Tho, Lauren & Philip, Kristina & Mike, and Paul. Van and Tho were the bikers. It was foggy in the lower 700' and then sunny above that. Temperature was quite comfortable - upper 60's to low 70's. The hike was about 7 miles roundtrip and 1700' in elevation. There were still quite a number of wildflowers still in bloom, and saw butterflies and hummingbirds up at the peak (and along the way too). Visibility was good - seeing as far as Pt Reyes, Mt. Diablo, and mid-penisula. We didn't go to the beach afterwards as it was pretty cloudy and a bit chilly. Enjoy the photos!
