May 29, 2004 - Sanborn County Park This hike was attended by 5 people: Al, Andrew, Ann, Judit, and Paul. It was sunny, maybe around low 70's with a bit of wind. The hike was only about 5 miles but did have a bit of elevation in the front half (about 1000'). We saw a deer, some flowers, a redwood grove, a ground-digging rat/vole, among other things. After the hike, we had a leisurely picnic in the shades of some trees in the park's grassy grounds. Enjoy the photos!
